Hi guys,
today you chose a part from the play to act and you also had to work on vocabulary from the text.
You had to classify the words into the right category (transparent / contexte / composition / dictionnaire)

Hey,
today we wrote a long lesson about the characters' attitudes in the play. We spoke about Anne, Henry, and Percy. Here is what we said:
Anne pleads because she is desperate. She says: "I'm not guilty; I'm innoncent!"
She kneels before the king because she is inferior.
She shakes her head, and she trembles because she is scared.
She gasps when she sees her lover, Percy.Henry threatens Anne because he is angry. He is menacing.
He points at her because he accuses her.
He smiles because he is superior. He says: "I'm the King".
Percy trembles and sighs because he is desperate and devastated; Anne will be beheaded.__________________________
Homework:
- savoir analyser les émotions des personnages.
- connaître quelques répliques par coeur.

Hey,
today we started to correct your adding stage directions to the text and we began to direct the actors on stage to tell them what to do.
Here are some of the things you said so far:
The scene = in a dramatic tone / shows the characters.
Henry = in an angry tone / shows Anne
Anne = in a desperate tone / pleads
Judge = in a serious tone / salutes the king
Henry = in a menacing tone / points at Anne with his finger
Anne = in a trembling voice / shakes her head
Jury = cheer / clap their hands_____________________________
Homework:
- apprendre la 1ère moitié du texte (tous les rôles) jusqu'à "Off with her head".
- être capable de comprendre une didascalie.

Hi guys,
today we corrected your homework and we listed a few cues that you could be pronounced for each stage direction.
Then we started to read and analyse the text that you will have to learn for the "final task".
We added stage directions for the first "character", the narrator who presents the scene.
You can download it here again:

Hey guys,
today we continued working on how to express an emotion in English with different drama exercises.
________________________________
Homework:
- pour la prochaine leçon, vous devez connaître parfaitement les verbes de parole qui indiquent le ton d'un personnage ainsi que les adjectifs qui leur sont associés.
- vous devez également être capable de donner une réplique possible (a cue) avec le bon ton (stage direction) pour chaque verbe de parole.
Ex: Plead = she is desperate = "Why did you do this to me?"
