Today, we tried to answer this question about Jack the Ripper's case:
Why was this case difficult for the police?
1- The victims had* no family so nobody would call the police, nobody cared.
2- The crimes happened in the street at night so there were* no witnesses.
3- The streets were dirty, there was no sanitation and there was a lot of smoke so there was no evidence.
4- The victims were all female prostitutes and they were drunk so they couldn’t defend themselves.
5- The neighbourhood was over crowded so one couldn’t hear the victims if they screamed and there were lots of suspects.
Cause and consequence
He killed them SO he’s going to prison.
He’s going to prison BECAUSE he killed them.

Today, we continued to work on the Personality worksheet and then you watched a video about Asandra's audition.
Asandra’s audition
Asandra is the opposite of Malaki.
She thinks she is a diva, a queen.
She’s very easy-going and quite funny. She’s a little selfish. She is extremely talkative.
I think she can sing extremely well, she’s very self-confident.
Actually, I think she’s not a diva, she’s just a little girl!

oggi, dopo la correzione del compito, abbiamo cominciato un'attività di C.S.(comprensione scritta) + E.O.(espressione orale) a partire dall'immagine a pag.81 (fotocopia)"Dovè l'ufficio postale?"
CORREZIONE:
1. La chiesa fra il museo e il teatro
2. L'ufficio postale è accanto alla banca
3. Il distributore è dietro la stazione
4. Il parcheggio è davanti alla scuola
5. Il bar è all'angolo
6. La fermata dell'autobus è dietro la stazione.
In seguito abbiamo ancora lavorato sull'immagine di pag 81 (es. 11) in I.O.(interazione orale)
DOMANDA: «Sono al museo. Scusa, puoi dirmi come faccio per andare a scuola?»
RISPOSTA: «Devi andare... » alla 2° pers sing.
