Today, we read a text about dabbawallas in India. You used dictionaries to find new words and we explained other words.

This is what we wrote:

Paragraph one:

 

A tiffin box=a metal/lunch box

 

to carry=to transport

 

to deliver=to give to somebody who ordered something.

 

 

 

 

Paragraph two:

 

illiterate--> semi literate-->literate

 

 

 

Paragraph three

 

wedding=mariage

 

powerful=puissant

 

 

 

Paragraph four

 

across=à travers

 

 

 

Paragraph five

 

braving /to brave= braver/ affronter

 

peak hour= heures de pointe.

Heat= la chaleur.

 

Homework: Finir de chercher le vocabulaire.

Ecrire une question par paragraphe.

   coffee I prefer apricot

3. I don't like spiders

   I love dogs

   I like apricots

   I hate winter

 

1. Do you like yellow? Yes, I do.

   Do you have a pet? Yes, I do.

   Do you like milk? No I don't.

   Do you like cheese too? No, I don't.

 

1. -Do you have a dog?

   -Yes, I do.

   -Do you have a cat too?

   -No, I don't.

   -I love dogs but I don't like cats.

 

 

 

6.a. I don't like snakes but I like mice and spiders!

 

b. I hate fish but I love bananas.

Then you wrote a lesson about I love and I have.

 

Homework: Apprendre la leçon, réviser la correction des exercices.
