  • Hello everyone, last week we worked on rules.

You had to learn the dialogue about Philip's driving lesson and play it in front of the class.

Some of you will need to play it again!

Homework for Monday 18/05: revise your dialogues and exercices 1 to 5 page 63 (book) to do in your copybooks.

  • Hi guys,

today we continued talking about Ben and his experiences (what he has already / never done). We found what job he was applying for!

The Best Job in the World is actually a job of communication. Ben will have to create campaigns and promote a country on a blog or website; he will encourage tourists to go there and do many fun activities.

Here is what we said about his resume:

A- The man in the report likes sport, adventure and adrenaline:
    1- He has already bungee-jumped.
2- He has already crossed deserts.
    3- He has already scubadived.

B- He is crazy about animals.
1- He has already kissed a giraffe.
2- He has already visited many zoos in Africa.
3- He has already ridden* an ostrich.

C- He enjoys going to the sea.
    1- He has already snorkeled.
2- He has already fed* fish.
3- He has never swum* with dolphins but he would love to.

    ---------------------

Pour parler d'une expérience = PRESENT PERFECT -> HAVE ou HAS + p. passé (ed / irrégulier)
NB: beaucoup de verbes irréguliers* prennent -EN en terminaison.
             ex: write -> written / ride -> ridden / give -> given / eat -> eaten ...

    _____________________________

    Homework:

    - connaître le nouveau vocabulaire des activités (fiche distribuées en cours cf. ci-dessous) et être capable de parler des expériences de Ben => devoir de connaissance sur la leçon.
