Hi guys!

Today, we talked about simple past and you did an exercise in your copybook.

LE PRETERIT

On utilise le prétérit pour parler d'une action passée et terminée.

Pour former le prétérit:

- les verbes réguliers : Base Verbale + -ED (ex.: TWIST > TWISTED)

- les verbes irréguliers : il faut les apprendre par coeur. (ex.: FORGET > FORGOT, BREAK > BROKE)

Then we started another short activity "What's the problem?"

Today we talked about School life again and you quizzed your friends about new vocabulary.

Here's the list of new vocabulary: a coat, a tissue, put on, switch on the lights, the board, step aside.

CAN / CAN’T / COULD

On peut employer l’auxiliaire CAN dans les questions pour demander une permission ou un service.

CAN’T ici permet d’insister sur l’incapacité.

COULD est aussi un auxiliaire, il permet d’être plus poli en demandant un service ou une permission.
