• Hi guys,

    today we practised sentence building.

You had to come to the board in groups and form a sentence about the situation in the TV show "Britain's Got Talent". Great job!

We'll finish our analysis of the show next time.

  • What will happen to Malaki and Garfield...?

I suppose     the jury           will               congratulate Malaki.
I believe       they                 will               say: "it's perfect".

  • Hi guys,

today I presented the new sequence and its final task. You will become actors (candidate, jury, and spectators) for "Britain's Got Talent" but in a "Joliot School" version.

Below are the videos we started to work on and the beginning of your commentary:

    The audio:
The document is the credits / the introduction of the TV show: America's Got Talent / Britain's Got Talent / France's Got Talent ...

When you listen to it, you want to dance.
To participate, you must have a talent. You can dance; you can draw or sketch; ...

To play "Britain's Got Talent", you need:
    - a stage (and backstage)
    - a candidate
    - the jury
    - the spectators / the audience
    - presenters
    - a cameraman

    The video:

Malaki is a candidate for a TV show. I think he can sing extremely well / very well / quite well.
    He's 9. He's from London.
    He came* with his mom.
He's nervous and scared because there is the jury and there are many spectators.
    He's very cute.

I think the jury will say "no".
