• Hi guys, 

    today we finished talking about how to express what you like and what you don't like in English. 

     

    Après une expression du goût (j'aime, j'aime pas, je préfère, ...), je rajoute -ING au verbe qui suit.

    Example:

    Sue is crazy about listening to music.
    She likes reading books in bed.
    She doesn't like biking but she prefers roller-skating.

    Will loves listening to music.
    He likes reading books.
    He dislikes biking but he prefers roller-skating.

    Homework:

    - ne pas oublier de terminer la fiche d'Olivia (ex 6 et 7).
    - se préparer pour la tâche finale (Britain's Got Talent) qui aura lieu ce mardi 17/10/13.

    today we first made a recap of Olivia's objectives and then I explained the final task in details with some examples.

    Finally, we worked on how to express what you like and what you don't like with different possibilities.

    Pour jeudi 12/12:
    - finir la fiche d'Olivia (exercices n°6 et 7)

    Pour lundi 16/12:
    - avoir fini sa tâche finale (affichette A4 + scène filmée + préparation au passage jury / talent / famille)

    today we worked on reading and understanding Olivia's poem. Here are some things we said:

    Olivia wants to save the planet.
    She doesn't want Louis Vuitton to kill animals.
    She wants animals to live.

    ....

    We also worked on phonetics and phonetic symbols.

    - s'entraîner à lire le poème à haute voix sans faire d'erreur de prononciation, en particulier sur les mots rimés à la fin de chaque vers.
