The menu of the chic restaurant

It's an English restaurant because you can pay in pounds. £

There are British specialties (fish, soup, apple crumble).

First the man orders tomato soup. Then, he'd like chicken curry and finally he wants apple crumble.

He would like to drink a cup of coffee and a bottle of sparkling mineral water.

The woman orders salad. Then she'd like the fish of the day with peas and potatoes. Finally, she wants home-made ice-cream.

She would like to drink a cup of coffee too and a glass of red wine.

The chic restaurant

The customers are sitting around the table.

The waiter is serving the 2 customers.

He has a tie, a white shirt and an apron. So, he is elegant.

I think the restaurant is delicious and good quality.

Maybe it is very expensive because it is not a fast food restaurant. It's fancy and chic.

The table has a cloth, knives, forks, and spoons.

The customers are elegant because the woman is wearing a beautiful dress and the man is wearing a black suit.

Thursday, April 5^th (the fifth)

The fake burger

The customer orders lunch. He'd like a double cheese burger with fries and a milkshake.

He says the burger doesn't look like reality.

In the poster, it is big, plump and juicy. So it's yummy.

But in reality, the burger is small, miserable and squashed.

It doesn't have onion.

So it's disgusting.

The customer is angry and disappointed.

The dangerous customer

The manager changes his mind because he is scared.

The customer threatens everybody in the restaurant with a gun.

He is furious and dangerous.

Finally, he changes his mind. He doesn't want breakfast.

He orders lunch. He'd like a double cheese burger with fries and a chocolate milkshake.

The manager and the customer: what will happen?

Suppositions:

I think the manager will say: “get out” and he will fight with the customer.

I believe the customer will threaten the manager with a gun.

I guess the manager will call the police for the customer because the customer will be furious.

I suppose the customer won't eat his breakfast and his lunch.

Maybe, the customer will say: “I will never come back!”
