He was a famous British novelist / writer.
He was born in 1812 (100th anniversary of his birth in 2012). He died in 1870.He moved to London when he was child. He couldn't go to school. He had to work. His parents didn't have money. They were poor.
In 1836, he started writing and he became famous. He married in 1836 too but divorced in 1850.
He wrote "Oliver Twist".________________________

today we continued speaking about the visit to Madame Tussaud's wax museum and then we talked about the famous people that the penfriends saw at the museum.

- apprendre la leçon sur le musée Madame Tussaud's = être capable de raconter le week end de Lucy.
- savoir faire une phrase au passé (verbes réguliers / irréguliers / négation au passé)

Hi,
today we continued speaking about the audio document (conversation).
Then we analysed how to speak in the past with regular and irregular verbs.
Ex:
They saw* the wax statues of the royal family (Henry VIII, Lady Diana, Camilla, ...)
Her friend went* to the museum two years ago with his history teacher.-> the most important moments in English history mentioned in the document:
* the gunpowder plot
* the great fire
* the blitz-> the most famous royal family members:
* Prince Charles and his wives (Lady Diana -> they divorced and she died + Camilla Parker Bowles)____________________
Homework:
- apprendre la leçon = être capable de parler de la conversion entre les deux amis.
