today we worked on the film "Some Like it Hot" again and we saw that there were many parallels with Marilyn's life and her character in the movie... troubling, right?

The character Marilyn Monroe plays has a lot of points in common with her.
"Story of my life: I always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop" means that she never got what she wanted. Her life looked perfect. She was beautiful and sexy but she was never happy. She was depressed and blue because maybe people and men liked her body, not her real self.
