• Summer News!

    Hi guys,

today I explained the rules in the English class and we read a document about them.

Then we started the first sequence of the year: "Summer Review".

We talked about many events you remember that happened in July.

Final Task Project: You are a journalist for an online magazine and you need to write an article about an important event that happened during the summer. Choose your topic and write on!

  • Hi guys,

good job to the students who found the good culprit in the Kelner case!

You looked for the good clues and could say why the alibi didn't stand.

Then you completed a word search and I was impressed with the observation skills of some of you!

Finally we played two games that were rather fun about "football", "animals", and "time".

  • Hi guys,

today we started to read a text about the murder of a governor (Mr Kelner) and you had to analyze the alibi of the first witness / suspect.

    The Dead Governor

Part 1: It's the presentation of the murder and the 1st possible suspect (Inez Olson).
She is maybe old. She has worked as a housekeeper for the governor for 30 years.

Alibi: When the crime happened, she was doing the dishes and then she was watching TV.

    Vocab:
    a housekeeper
    French doors
    ajar

    Read the text here again:

Next time, we'll continue reading the text and you'll have to find out who the killer is!
