First we talked about this intriguing object:

You finally found what it was thanks to a YES / NO questions game. Here is what we said:

This object is a "dabba", a metal tin box for food. It's a lunch box that the parents (or the wife / husband) prepares for their loved ones to go to work (at the office) or to go to school. There is a colour, a code for the right destination. The dabbawallas (the delivery men) need this information to carry and deliver the boxes properly.
The scene takes place in Mumbai, a big city in India.

today we worked on the last video with Aaron, telling his story.

Here are some things we said:

When he cut his arm with his knife, it was the most horrible pain in his life. It was the worst experience for him but he never stopped fighting. He never abandonned. He never gave up.
He didn't say "ouch". He didn't shed a tear. He never cried because he thought about his family and he wanted to stay alive for them. He wanted to see them again. When he told his story, he was moved.

Homework:

- contrôle de vocabulaire et de leçon sur la séquence "How to survive". Vous devrez connaître par coeur votre vocabulaire de la survie (et des synonymes!) +
- Points de grammaire:

• les phrases en IF ...
• le superlatif (le / la / les plus ......)
• le futur avec "be going to" - "be gonna" à conjuguer soit au présent / soit au passé en fonction de la situation (je donne mon avis sur ce qu'il va se passer / je raconte ce que je pensais qu'il allait arriver).

+ leçon = être capable de parler des sentiments d'Aron et des différentes étapes qu'il a dû passer pour s'en sortir.

Les fiches réalisées en cours doivent être refaites (traduction de phrases) et les mots croisés ci-dessous:
