• Today we worked on the second worksheet and we revised the past tense.

You will need to be quieter in class if you want to learn properly!

Homework: Explain the "ice bucket challenge" in english (with your own words!) and revise both worksheets.

  • Hello everyone,

Today, we continued working on the video about cyberbullying.

First, you told me what you had imagined for the end of the video :

    - Maybe he's going to tell his mum. We can imagine that his mum's going to get an appointment with the headmaster who is going to call the police.

    - We can also imagine that he's going to commit suicide

Next, we watched the end of the video and we saw what happened :

    - His mum watched his video and met the headmaster. The police came to school. Joe felt relieved whereas the bully (=the girl) felt guilty.

After that, we read two comments posted on that video and we saw what the two girls proposed to do to stand up against bullies.

HOMEWORK : Tuesday 3rd : learn the advice given by the two girls.

  • Cyberbullying

    Hello everyone,

Last time, we worked on cyberbullying.

Indeed, we started watching a video.

    Cyberbullying

We described the situation and the different scenes :

His name is Joe and he is aged 14/15. He goes to school and meets a girl. He shares his music with her.

Then, in class, the boy answers the teacher's question and the girl laughs at him.

Many bad things start happening in Joe's life : he receives mean messages and phone calls, made up photos with him and his teacher (meaning that he's a teacher's pet). He starts feeling hurt/sad/shocked.

    Cyberbullying

Then, we started working on a document. We discovered the percentages of bullies, bullied people and unaffected people in the USA, in Australia and in France.

Finally, we tried to imagine solutions to solve this problem.

Next time, we'll finish the video.

Homework : learn the lesson and imagine what's going to happen. 02/06/14
