    The presentation of the electronic trees and real trees

     

    The document is a video from the animated movie The Lorax.

     

    There are three characters in the dining-room.

     

    They are eating and speaking about trees.

     

    The son wants to see a real tree whereas his mother doesn’t. She thinks real trees were messy and dirty.

     

    They didn’t change colours with the seasons.

     

    They didn’t play music.

     

    They didn’t have a disco ball.

     

    The grandmother has a secret; she knows a man who knows what happened to the real trees.

     

    Everybody cut the trees and the forest disappeared.

    The secret of the real trees

    The document is a video from the movie “The Lorax”.

    There are three characters in the dining-room.

    They are speaking about real and electronic trees.

    The son wants to see a real tree whereas his mother doesn’t, because she thinks the real trees were dirty and messy.

    Real trees didn’t change colours, they didn’t play music and they didn’t have a disco mode.

    The grandma knows the man who knows the story of the real trees and why they disappeared.

    Pour conjuguer au prétérit (passé):

    - il faut mettre -ED à la fin des verbes réguliers

    ex: disappear > disappeared

    - il faut apprendre par coeur les verbes irréguliers

    ex: be > was/were

    win > won

    go > went

    A la forme négative: Sujet + DIDN’T + verbe sans rien.
