Oliver Twist: extract from the movie (2)

The document is an extract from the movie Oliver Twist.

Oliver Twist arrives in a strict Christian orphanage because he doesn’t have parents.

In this place, he must work and pray everyday.

He can’t sleep because he is extremely hungry / he is starving.

Because he asks a question at the canteen to have more food / more gruel, the directors want to kill him / want to hang him.

There is a big contrast between the adults and the children.

The adults eat like kings whereas the children eat like dogs.
