    Halloween activities

    Apple bobbing is a Halloween game. Kids must bite apples in a cauldron full of water.

    Apples on strings is a Halloween game too. Kids must bite apples on a string and it’s very difficult.

    In both games, kids mustn’t use their hands.

    New vocabulary:

    bite [ai] = croquer / mordre

    cauldron = chaudron

    string = ficelle

    Homework for Thursday 26th: apprendre la leçon par cœur.

    -          There is + nom au singulier. Ex: there is a ghost.

    -          There are + nom au pluriel. Ex: there are three ghosts.

    He can fly, slide and move like shadows.

    Find three adjectives.

    You must be brave, you mustn’t be scared [skerd], you must be very well prepared.

    What do you need to fight a ghost?

    To fight a ghost, you need an armour and a sword.

    Today, you told me about what you did for Halloween.

    Here's an example in your copybooks:

    I celebrated [Id] Halloween. I had a party. I wore a zombie costume. I knocked [t] at people’s door and I ate free candies. I watched [t] a horror movie.

    Then, we started to listen to a Halloween song and you answered to Introduction and Part 1 questions. (voir fiche en cliquant ICI.).

    > Le prétérit sert à parler d’une action passée terminée.

    ·      Phrases négatives : didn’t + verbe à l’infinitif.

    Phrases affirmatives :

    ü Verbes réguliers : -ed

    ü Verbes irréguliers : il faut les apprendre.
