Hi there!
Today, you had a quick test on "There's a ghost".
Then, we watched a video.
Here's the lesson:
Halloween activities
Apple bobbing is a Halloween game. Kids must bite apples in a cauldron full of water.
Apples on strings is a Halloween game too. Kids must bite apples on a string and it’s very difficult.
In both games, kids mustn’t use their hands.
New vocabulary:
bite [ai] = croquer / mordre
cauldron = chaudron
string = ficelle
Homework for Thursday 26th: apprendre la leçon par cœur.

There is / There
Ø > There is / there are = il y a…
- There is + nom au singulier. Ex: there is a ghost.
- There are + nom au pluriel. Ex: there are three ghosts.
Homework for Tuesday 24th: revoir toute la leçon sur « there’s a ghost » et être capable de parler de toute la chanson : quick test. + chanson sur blog.

The ghost is in the tower.
What can he do?
He can fly, slide and move like shadows.
Find three adjectives.
You must be brave, you mustn’t be scared [skerd], you must be very well prepared.
What do you need to fight a ghost?
To fight a ghost, you need an armour and a sword.

Hello!
Today, you told me about what you did for Halloween.
Here's an example in your copybooks:
I celebrated [Id] Halloween. I had a party. I wore a zombie costume. I knocked [t] at people’s door and I ate free candies. I watched [t] a horror movie.
Then, we started to listen to a Halloween song and you answered to Introduction and Part 1 questions. (voir fiche en cliquant ICI.).
Homework for Thursday 19th: être encore capable de me dire ce que vous avez fait pour Halloween + pouvoir parler du début de la chanson.

I carved pumpkins.
I didn’t carve pumpkins.
I wore a scary costume.
I didn’t wear a costume.
I watched a horror movie.
I didn’t watch a horror movie.
> Le prétérit sert à parler d’une action passée terminée.
· Phrases négatives : didn’t + verbe à l’infinitif.
Phrases affirmatives :
ü Verbes réguliers : -ed
ü Verbes irréguliers : il faut les apprendre.
Homework for Tuesday 17th : apprendre la leçon et être capable de dire 4 phrases sur ce que l’on a fait ou pas pour Halloween. + rendre FICHE ORAL TRIMESTRE.
