  • Hello!

Today, we started to watch an extract from the Lorax. You did again a very good job!

Document 3 : At home (video)

The document is an extract from The Lorax.

They are eating vegetable jelly and Ted is playing with his food. It’s in the future!

Ted wants to see a real tree. His mother is shocked because she thinks real trees are messy and dirty pieces of wood.

Contrary to real trees, trees in the future can make light and change colours with a remote. They are high-tech trees. There are different modes: the four seasons and the disco mode with music.

Ted is ashamed of his mother when she dances.

    Seasons: summer, autumn, winter, spring.

Homework for Monday 14th: réviser en vue du quick test: il faudra décrire une image. Apprendre leçon !

  • Hello!

Today, we studied a second document from The Lorax. You did a very good job!

    Here's the lesson:

    Document 2: At home

    Thursday, March 10th (the tenth)

The document is a picture from an animated movie, too.

In the middle, there are three characters around a table: a grandmother, a mother and a kid.

The grandmother has white curly hair and she’s small, so her feet don’t touch the floor.

There is an umbrella next to the door. There are a foot ball and a baseball bat on the right. There is a coat rack next to the door.

In the background, there are three windows and two curtains.

There are two unlit lamps on the left, and in the foreground, the room is dark.

I guess there are chatting. Maybe there are eating or doing a puzzle. I believe there are playing cards.

Homework for Friday 11th: être capable de présenter le document 2 (décrire une image : localisateurs, présent BE + ING, There is/are, vocabulaire).

For Monday 14th : QUICK TEST : décrire une image.
