    Today, we did a short recap of the summer news.

    Let’s recap the summer news!

    On July 10th, twelve boys and their football coach were* blocked in a cave in Thailand. It was* a perilous rescue and an American volunteer died.

    In July, The Incredibles 2 broke* a new record. It generated 500 million dollars at the American box office.

    On July 15th, France won* the football world cup in Russia.

    On July 27th, the longest lunar eclipse of the century took* place and it was* visible everywhere in the world. It was* red!

    On August 16th, Aretha Franklin died at 76 years old. She was* a very famous American singer.

    On August 14th, a bridge broke* in Italy (Genova) and many people died.

    During the summer, there were* many natural disasters: floods in Japan, wild fires in California and Greece, an earthquake in Indonesia, a volcano eruption in Guatemala. Many people died.
