• Hi guys,

    today we continued classifying the good and bad ideas when you are lost in the wild... Here is what we said:

    The most important is to believe you can survive.
    -> If you don't believe you can survive, you will get crazy or depressed.
    -> If you get crazy, you will not make a fire, warn people, find food or water and you will die rapidly.
    Maybe you will get hurt and you will suffer.
    -> If you don't warn people, you will not get rescued.

  • Hi guys,

    today we finished speaking about and writing yesterday's lesson. Here it goes:

    Jamie survived thanks to eating berries and leaves / thanks to drinking water. He slept under logs.
    The weather was foggy, wet and freezing.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    For me, the most important thing to survive in the wild is... :

    ... sleeping and keeping warm because...
    -> if you don't sleep, you will not have energy to find food and water.
    -> if you don't keep warm, you will freeze and die within hours.

    Vocab:
    * a leaf -> leaves
    (pluriel irrégulier)
    * rescue
    * equipment (a compass, a map, a blanket, ...)
    * make a fire
    * find your way

  • Hi guys,

    sorry for being late today but there was an accident on the ring road... so an enormous traffic-jam too...

    Anyway, we started a new lesson with this picture as an introduction. At first, this is what you said:

    Headline = World Record of the Biggest Fish!
    Summary = An old fisherman won the world record yesterday. He fished a 500 kilo tuna fish.
    Caption = the old fisherman with his catch and his friends.

    Structures to make a supposition:
    * Maybe...
    * I guess / I suppose / I imagine / I think ...  because... (he is smiling / he is wearing a hat / ...)

    New Sequence
