14- Why did travellers carried a piece of bread crossed with salt in their pockets?
-> This piece of bread kept them safe / protected them.
15- What happens if you throw one long strand of an apple peel over your shoulder?
-> It will form the initials of your beloved.
13- What is “Trick or Treat”?
-> Children go knocking on doors and ask for sweets. If you don't give them sweets (=otherwise), they cast a spell on you.
12- Why do people wear costumes?
They wear costumes to avoid being recognized by ghosts.
