Hi guys,
today we first did a recap of last time's lesson and then we tried to find the odd man out in a set of very famous characters.
You first thought it was Brad Pitt because you said:
He looks real whereas the other characters look like wax statues. His beard looks real. He is not a royal family member.
But you were actually wrong... since it was "Charles Dickens"... The girls didn't see him at the museum!
Then we started to work on his biography.

Hi guys,
today we continued talking about Britain's Got Talent and we watched the first part of Malaki's performance. Here is what we said:
Malaki is a schoolboy from North London. He is 9 years old. He came with his mom.
He is a bit nervous.
I think he can sing very well / quite well / only a little.
/ He can't sing at all.
The jury is moved because he is cute and the women want to cry. They have a lot of emotions.
Problem: he is very nervous / stressed out.--------------------------
Vocabulary:
- audience / spectators
- jury
- candidatecome -> came (au passé = irrégulier)

Homework:
- apprendre la leçon et regarder à nouveau les vidéos de Malaki ci-dessous:

Hello everyone!
Today, you started writing your dialogue in groups of 4. Here is its structure:
-Phase one: an argument between a teenager and a strict parent.
-Phase two: a discussion between a teenager and a (very) cool parent.
-Phase three: a discussion between the two teenagers.
-Phase four (BONUS) a discussion (argument?) between the parents.
You all imagined funny situations (the teenagers skipped school/ their bedroom is a total mess..)
Homework for Thursday : write your part of the dialogue/ find names for your characters...

Hello everyone,
Monday, you discovered new Christmas vocabulary with Mr Hill. You completed a worksheet and you even tried to sing Christmas carols! It was fun!

Hello everyone!
Today, we worked on directions. You had to find several places on a map, it was challenging but you did well!
We listened to four kids giving informations about a meeting(time and place) and you had to write it down.
HOMEWORK for Thursday 18/12: relire la page 153 du livre (révisions du verbe "BE")
