Billy Elliott is in a cemetary. His mother is dead (we can see the name « Jenny Elliott » on the grave. ) His dad is sad because he cries a lot, maybe because his wife died.

 

 

 

Billy’s grandmother is positive : she encourages Billy to dance. She wants Billy to live his dream !

 

 

 

Billy’s older brother is mean : he laughs at Billy because he thinks ballet is for girls.

Billy Elliott is a young boy. He doesn’t like boxing, he wants to join the ballet group. In fact, he is very stressed. He is interested in ballet but his dad doesn’t want his son to dance just because he is a boy. He thinks ballet is for girls or homosexuals/gays. He thinks his son is weak.

I can see a girl with a boy. The boy has got boxing gloves and a helmet so I guess he’s a boxer. Maybe the little girl is his sister/ I believe the little girl is his coach/ I suppose the boy is going to fight on the ring.

 

I think the film is about two sports: ballet dancing vs boxing.

We think the film is about a boy , he is different. He has a boxing costume and he is in the middle of ballerinas.

 

Maybe he wants to be a dancer and not a boxer. Maybe he wants to hide from his family : he looks scared !

Type of document : this is a drawing or a cartoon. I can see a blue and red ring and a red costume.

 

 

 

Description : This is a picture of a ring with a ballerina foot. I think a girl is dancing, maybe she is black (or she has black tights).

 

 

 

The film is probably about boxing or dancing.

 

Maybe it’s an animated movie.

 

We suppose it’s an American movie because the lines are red and white, like the American flag.
