Last summer, the world cup of women for soccer took* place in France.

The USA team won* the championship in Lyon but the French team didn’t win.

 

Last summer, it was* the anniversary of Neil Armstrong. He walked on the moon 50 years ago.

People celebrated and quoted him: “It’s a small step for man, but a giant leap for mankind”.

 

Last summer, there was* a hurricane. “Dorian” destroyed many islands in the Bahamas but it didn’t destroy the USA.
