Le génitif

Il sert à exprimer un lien d'appartenance ou de parenté. En général il s'exprime avec 's.

Example one: George is Charlotte's brother . They are William's children.

Si le mot finit par un s , j'ajoute un 's.

Example two : Camilla is Charles's wife. They are James's socks.

Si le mot finit par un S du pluriel, on n'ajoute pas de deuxième S, on se contente de l'apostrophe.

Example three : This is my parents' house. They are my brothers' videogames.
