    He has done many activities and he has been around the world:

    Definition of tourism

     

    Tourism is to organize a holiday in another country or city.

    It's a minimum of 24 hours in a city.

    You can sleep at the hotel, a camping-site or the house of your family. You can have many activities.

    You can visit big cities:

    - You can eat specialties

    - You can do shopping for clothes or souvenirs.

    - You can take photos to remember your holiday.

    - You can go to the fun park.

    - You can visit monuments. For example, in London, you can visit the wax museum.

     

    You can go to the beach:

    - sunbathe

    - swim at the sea

    You can go to the countryside:

    You can go to the mountains

    Two actions

     

    The dodger was stealing a handkerchief when the shopkeeper called the police.

    Oliver was running when the police arrested / caught* him.

    The judge was punishing Oliver when the shopkeeper arrived in court.

    The shopkeeper was saying “it's not the pickpocket” when Oliver fainted.

    The contrasts in this scene

     

    The directors had* much food whereas the children had little food. So Oliver Twist asked more food.

    The children were* skinny whereas the director was* fat.

    Roman Polanski changed the angle of the camera to see the importance of the characters.

    For example, the director is filmed in a high angle whereas the children are filmed in a low angle.

     

    I think this situation is cruel, unfair, and shocking.

    The story of Oliver Twist

     

     

    Oliver Twist was* a child. He lived in 19th century London at the time of Queen Victoria.

    He was* abandoned. He lived in a workhouse.

    He escaped his orphanage.

    He became* a pickpocket because he was* desperate but determined to have new adventures.
