Charles Dickens was a very famous British novelist who wrote Oliver Twist in 1837 (eighteen thirty-seven).

This document is a DVD cover. It shows a picture on the right and on the left, there is a summary/a pitch. There are screenshots from the movie at the bottom.

On the right, there is the title: Oliver Twist. This movie was adapted from Charles Dickens novel by movie director Roman Polanski.

The pitch: Oliver Twist is a young orphan boy. He lives in a workhouse. The story takes place in 19th Century London. Oliver escapes to the streets of London. He will have a series of adventures and maybe he will have a better life.

Homework for Thursday 31th: apprendre leçon par coeur.
