Les 2 preterits: preterit simple et preterit BE + V-ING

Action cadre (prétérit BE + V-ING) > Action qui interrompt / action qui arrive pendant que l’autre action se déroule (Prétérit simple –ed / irréguliers*).

Verbes irréguliers* :

Grow up > grew up 

Meet > met

See > saw

Steal > stole

Send > sent

Run > ran

Read > read

Catch > caught.

Prétérit BE + ING:                              I was eating a salad.

                                                               You were eating chocolate.

                                                               Latif was eating apples.

                                                               We were eating….

                                                               They were eating…
