The first day of school
Afro-American people couldn’t live in the same neighbourhoods so Ruby had to drive to school.
They couldn’t study in the same schools so there was a violent demonstration. The parents were racist; the director was extremely angry, she looked at the girl badly and she despised her.
At one moment, Ruby went to the washroom but Afro-Americans had to use different bathrooms. So everyone was shocked.
