How to subvert a fairy tale and change some elements to make it fun!

Simplified version of the story (recap):
Little Red Riding Hood goes to visit her grandmother.
She meets a wicked wolf in the forest and speaks with him.
The evil wolf eats the grandmother. He doesn't chew her but gobbles her up.
The father kills the wolf and the family is safe. 

Changes made in the story:
The scene takes place at the grand-mother's house directly. The wolf is not wicked but very nice. He is actually a pet of the family.
He doesn't eat the grandmother and LRRH intentionally. He suffers from sleep-walking.
When the father discovers the wolf's problem, he doesn't kill him but pats him on the head and comforts him.
He tries to find a solution to save his family without killing the animal.
1- He jumps on his stomach... but it doesn't work.
2- He tickles him very hard... but it doesn't work.
3- He tries to make him vomit... but it doesn't work.
4- He waits... but it doesn't work.
5- Finally, he rubs a feather under the wolf's nose. The wolf sneezes so hard that the grand-mother and LRRH come out of his nostrils.
In the end, the family feels disgusted but everyone is safe.
