La terminaison -s / -es + Cinderella mean characters

Today, we did two things :

Comment savoir si on choisit ‘s’ ou ‘es’ au présent simple ?

Si l’infinitif du verbe se termine par le son : /z/, ou ‘sh’, ou /s/, on ajoute la terminaison –ES à la troisième personne du singulier.

Ex : She washes /iz/

       He dances /iz/

       He chooses /iz/

Pour tous les autres verbes, on termine par –S à la 3è p. du singulier.

Ex : She eats /i :ts/

Mean characters in Cinderella

-       Lady Tremaine is the wicked / mean / nasty / bad stepmother of Cinderella.

-       Drizella Tremaine is ... (brunette / older / daughter)

-       Anastasia Tremaine is ... (redheaded / younger / daughter)

HOMEWORK : Monday 17^th : revise the two presents, learn “lady Tremaine” + do two sentences (Drizella and Anastasia)
