Correction of the English test

Today, we spent a lot of time on the correction of your test.

CORRECTION OF THE ENGLISH TEST

Exercise 1 : ACTIONS = PRESENT BE + V-ing.

-        Cinderella is fixing breakfast.

-        She is doing the sweeping.

-        She is doing the dusting.

-        She is washing the dishes.

Exercise 2 : HABITS (habitudes) = PRESENT SIMPLE (verbe seul ou verbe + S/ES)

-        Every day, she fixes the breakfast.

-        Every morning, she washes the dishes. 

-        All the time, she does the sweeping. 

-        All day long, she sews her headscarf. 

Exercise 3 : FUTURE : will + verbe non conjugué.

Cinderella will be a model / a witch/ a TV presenter/a famous cook in her village.

She will become a stewardess.

Exercise 4 : HABITS IN YOUR FAMILY

a)   My sister makes her bed every morning.

Every day, my brother sets the table.

My brother always makes his bed.

b)   Every day, I fix the breakfast.

I never wash the dishes.

I sometimes do the sweeping.

Exercise 5 : VOCABULARY

• -        Coudre : sew
• -        Du fil : thread
• -        Une aiguille : a needle
• -        Passer la serpillère : do the mopping
• -        Faire du feu : make the fire
• -        Beugler : holler

-        1x/jour : once a day, bondir : hop, une robe : a gown, presque jamais : hardly ever, 2x/jour : twice a day, des souris : mice, du ruban : ribbon, du tissue : fabric.
