What did you do... + Scene analysis

Hi guys,

today we first started a new "ritual" at the beginning of the class. Here is the new question that you will have to ask everyday:

-> Question: What did you do ... yesterday / during the week end / during the holidays / x days ago / .... ?

-> Answer:
- I cooked crêpes and I ate them ( cook / eat )
- I played a basketball match and I won ( play / win)
- I went to a birthday party ( go )
- I did some shopping ( do )
- I wrote two chapters of a book (write)

-> Attention aux verbes réguliers (le /E/ dans le suffixe /ED/ ne se prononce jamais comme un e)
-> Attention aux verbes irréguliers qu'ils faut apprendre par coeur.
 = connaître la conjugaison des verbes au prétérit

Then we continued the lesson with the analysis of the scene when the characters are eating. Here is what we said:

Real trees VS fake trees:

For the mother, real trees are messy and dirty because the leaves fall on the ground.
For the son, they are a dream. They don't exist. People cut them all and they didn't survive. They all died.
