West Side Story (the end) + A pogrom in Russia

Hi guys,

today we first started the lesson with a recap about what you could say to oppose the opinions of the boys and girls in the musical West Side Story.

You then had to identify with the lyrics the ideas present in the document I gave you.

Finally, we started to watch a new video (an extract from the movie "Ellis Island") in which you could see an attack of Russian soldiers on a Jewish village: a pogrom. 

You had to imagine what may happen to the main character. Here is what you said: 

- He may survive. 
- He may die. 
- He may escape. 
- He may kill the soldier.

- vous pouvez revoir l'extrait ci-dessous. Essayez d'anticiper de préparer des phrases pour dire ce qu'il va lui arriver d'après vous après cet extrait. Que va-t-il faire? 

- NB: l'extrait "America", s'il vous a plu, peut vous servir pour l'épreuve d'Histoire des Arts.
