today we worked on an extract from West Side Story in which you had to oppose the opinions of the girls and the opinions of the boys. Here is what you said so far:
The girls love the US whereas the boys hate the US.
The girls think you can't earn money in Puerto Rico while the boys think they can't see the reality. They are blinded.
The girls think there are hurrincanes and tornadoes in Puerto Rico unlike in the USA.
They think the USA is a developed country whereas the boys think you can't have big apartments.
Pour opposer deux idées: whereas / while / unlike
