Today, you told me how you feel like when you’re dancing, and then you watched Billy Elliot’s trailer.
What does it feel like when you’re dancing?
When I’m dancing, I feel like Michael Jackson because I’m very energetic.
When I’m dancing, I don’t feel like Fauve because I’m a terrible dancer.
When I’m dancing, I feel proud.
When I’m dancing I feel awkward. I feel like an elephant!
The trailer
In the trailer, Billy Elliot wants to dance. He’s not a good boxer but he’s a very talented dancer.
His mum is dead.
His dad doesn’t want Billy to dance. He says “you can play football but ballet is not for boys”.
Billy’s brother agrees.
The grandmother is supporting Billy.
