Hello!
Today, we did the last lesson of Jack the Ripper's case. We watched a CNN report.
Is Jack the Ripper’s case solved?
In the past, investigators didn’t have DNA and blood analysis. In Jack the Ripper’s case, bullet comparison and fingerprints analysis was not useful because he used a knife and the crimes took* place in the dirty streets of Whitechapel.
In the video, there is an expert who says Aaron Konsminski is the killer, because he found* a shawl next to a victim and there was DNA evidence on it.
I think A. Konsminski isn’t the culprit, because the victim was a prostitute so maybe he was just a customer.
