Hello!

Today, you practised pronunciation for CAN and CAN’T (page 19 workbook) and then you asked questions to your classmates.

Can you…?

- Can you play football?

- Yes, I can, and I can swim too.

- Can you ride a bike?

- Yes, I can.

- Can you surf?

- No, I can't, but I can sing.

- Can you do ballet?

- No, I can't.

Prononciation «can» / «can't»: On insiste plus sur «can't» que sur «can». Dans une phrase avec «can», on insiste sur le verbe qui suit.

Ex: I can swim but I can't skate.

Homework for Wednesday 11th : apprendre leçon par cœur + ex. 1, 2 et 3 page 20 du workbook.
