Exercise 2:

Have you ever fed* a baby bear?

Have you ever slept* outside / under the stars?

Have you ever played with / stroked a wolf?

Have you ever spied on / observed bears?

Exercise 2 page 2:

- Sorry! He has gone to the new video shop.

- There's a new video shop? I haven't been there, have you?

- No, I haven't. By the way, can I talk to your sister?

- You can't, she has gone to our grandparents', she'll (will) be back later tonight.

I HAVE BEEN > je suis parti.e et je suis revenu.e

I HAVE GONE > je suis parti.e et j'y suis encore.

Exercise 4:

a. Have you bought* presents?

Yes, I have. I bought* them last week.

b. Have you packed your suitcase?

Yes, I have. I finished packing two hours ago.

c. Have you recharged your cell phone?

Yes, I have. I did* it this morning.

Present perfect: je mets l'accent sur le résultat.

Preterit: je peux dater l'événement (yesterday, two years ago, in 1950…)
