Today, you analysed a second ad campaign.

The Rainbow ad campaign

The document is an ad campaign.

It encourages people to eat healthy to fight against diseases.

People should eat different colours of fruit and vegetables because it’s good for different parts of the body.

At the top and at the bottom, there are pictures of pieces of fruit and veggies.

At the top, under the pictures, there is a slogan: “Eating a rainbow is healthy”. It’s a pun.

In the middle, there are many captions in coloured squares:

- you should eat red foods because it’s good for your heart and blood (tomatoes, raspberries...)

- you should eat orange foods because it helps prevent cancer (pumpkins…)

- you should eat yellow food because it’s good for your skin and eyes.

- you should eat blue and purple foods because it’s good for your memory and brain (blueberries, grape, eggplants...)
