Today, you read* Oliver Twist movie pitch and then you watched the opening scene of the movie.
The pitch
Oliver Twist is an orphan boy, in 19th century London. He was abandoned by his parents at an early age. He lives and works in a workhouse. One day, he escapes to the streets of London and becomes a pickpocket.
He will have a series of adventures and maybe a better life.
The opening scene of the movie:
The workhouse looks like a haunted castle and a prison. The atmosphere is dark and sinister. The adults are mean and Oliver looks nervous and scared.
