The invisible timetable
On Friday, they have got English from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m.
On Thursday, they have got Drama from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m.
On Monday, they have got Geography from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.
On Tuesday, they have got History at 9:30 a.m.
a.m. = ante meridiem (morning)
p.m. = post meridiem (afternoon)
30 = thirty
45 = forty-five
Can you lend me a ruler, please? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
Our favourite schoolday
In my class, our favourite day is Friday, because we finish at 11:00 or 12:00 a.m.
