Today, you watched the third part of Oliver Twist's extract.

It was a very strict Catholic orphanage.
Children drew* lots and Oliver lost*! So he had* to ask for more soup.
When he did* it, the old man hit* Oliver and missed him!
He will be caned and he will be hanged !!
It’s unfair, because he just asked for more food and he’s only a child!
Before Oliver stood up* it was very noisy in the canteen, whereas after it was very quiet.
The atmosphere is suspenseful.
I think Oliver will escape from the orphanage with some other boys.
Florian believes he will be hanged. J
