The story of the Once-Ler
The document is a children's book extract.
The Once-Ler is mysterious because:
- we can't see his face but you can see his eyes.
- we can just see his green gloves.
For the story, you must pay 15 cents, a nail, and the shell of a great-great-great-grand-father snail.
You must put the price in a tin pail.
And maybe the Once-Ler will tell you everything.
→ He will pull up the rope and he will make a careful count to see if you have the proper amount.
