Hi guys,

today we started the class with a recap of what we said about Henry VIII's life.

Then we watched a funny video about why he married his wives and what happened to them.

Why did they get married? Why did they break up?

... divorced / beheaded / died / survived
for love / for money / for territory / to have a baby
a male heir / a son / a daughter
flirted with another man / with other men
... didn't love anymore
... thought she was ugly / she looked like a horse

Homework:

- écrire une phrase minimum par femme pour expliquer pourquoi Henry VIII s'est marié avec elle et ce qui s'est passé pour qu'ils se séparent au final (donc 6 phrases... puisqu'il a eu 6 femmes...). Vous devez inclure des mots de la leçon faite en cours pour ce travail.
