The scene takes place in Brooklyn (a neighbourhood / a borough)
Chris is 13 years old, he is a teenager but he looks like 5 years old.
He dreams about a leather jacket but he doesn't have money because his family is poor.
For him, to have a leather jacket is cool / stylish / fashionable.
He walks in the street, he meets a girl and they talk about the leather jacket.
He wants to look like a model and he likes posing.
Possibilities:
He may ask money to buy the leather jacket.
He may work and find a summer job.
He may beg in the street. (!)
