The competition

Hi guys,

today we continued working on the song from "Annie Get Your Gun". You learnt and practised singing! Good job to all the class who did a very good job!

Here is what we said about this strange competition:

The woman is more nervous than the man. She wants to win the competition.
She sings higher and longer whereas the man can sing softer and sweeter than she.
She says she is a better hunter. For example, she can shoot a sparrow with a bow and arrow.

Vocab:
- a sparrow / a partridge = 2 birds
- a cartridge
- a girdle + a sweater = two items of clothing
