Hey,
today we worked on the characters' attitude (Anne, Henry, Percy, the Jury) and the reasons why they acted in such a way.
Here is what we said:
The jury = the people -> They cheer because they support the king. They don't want to be beheaded.
Percy = the lover -> He trembles because he is afraid.
Henry = the husband (and king) -> He is satisfied because Anne Boleyn is guilty.
Then we worked on a vocabulary activity. You had to classify some words in a chart according to how you could identify their meaning (mots transparents, mots composés, mots déduits du contexte, mots à chercher dans le dictionnaire).
