today we corrected the worksheet about the events from July.
Then you had associate the recordings with the correct pictures and explain why.
Finally, you worked individually to create a short paragraph about an event you could choose (the ice-bucket challenge, Lauren Bacall's death, the European championships, the Ebola pandemic).
Here are some vocabulary words or some notes we took from the board:
Ice bucket challenge = celebrities / ice bucket / face / charity / fight against a disease
Lauren Bacall = "femme fatale" / actress
Ebola = epidemic / pandemic
