Preparation for the final task about hippies

Hello everyone,

I'm catching up on all the things I should have published earlier.

So, we worked lately on Hippies.

We discovered two songs and Woodstock festival.

We also discovered the tie-dye style and we discussed issues defended by hippies or criticised by them.

Here are the two songs :

Here are some lessons that you produced :

                    HIPPIES

The "hippies" era took place in the 1960's/1970's.
They were fighting for peace, nature and love.
They were fighting against war, particulary the Vietnam war, against animal hunting and also business because according to them, money was a big source of trouble.
In the sixties, millions of hippies gathered at the Woodstock festival were folk and rock music were played.

               Song : the 1970's

- In the 70's we didn't know everything whereas today we have access to search engines (ex:Google).
- In the past, accountants didn't have control but today, we are controlled by the importance of money.
- In the 70's we had a better private life while today, the media and internet can reveal everything.
- Kids could play with everything outside whereas in 2014, they need technologies.

So now, this is your homework :

For Monday 19th, you have to be ready for the final task.

You will record an interview between an old hippie and a journalist.

Don't write a full script, don't learn a text, but practise your pronunciation, word stress, etc !
