Hi guys,

today we continued the class with the video about Ted and his family. Here is what we said about it:

Ted wants a real tree whereas his mother doesn't.
Today we eat real food whereas in the future they eat jelly.
I believe fake trees are ugly whereas real trees are beautiful.
Real trees can change colours with the seasons whereas automatic trees can change with a remote.
Ted is ashamed whereas his mother and grand-mother are not shy.

Then we started to analyse the oppositions between the mother and the grand-mother. Here is what you said:

The mother is slim whereas the grand-mother is fat.
She is young...
She had brown hair...
She is smiling...
She had got big glasses...
She is wearing a purple top...

Grammar:
